Has anyone had issues with installing in-channel rain guards? I didn't even know these were a thing until today. Some people have reported that their windows gave them issues like the top lip getting scratched up or the motor being effected by the installing. They look cleaner than the stick on ones do. Do the in-channel guards give less coverage than stick ons?

I am working on a new CarScanner dashboard for our two Toyotas; Ravenna, my 2023 R4P, and Sabine, our 2025 Sienna LE. I was building the gauge for Traction Battery Max Temp, and it suddenly occurred to me that I've never actually known what the "safe" temperature range is for Ravenna's 18 kW-hr, 98 cell Lithium Ion battery pack. The Owner's Manual doesn't say, and that makes sense because the car doesn't have any dashboard gauges for temperature - that's why I use CarScanner on long road... What internal temperature is "safe" for your Rav4 Prime/PHEV or BZ/BZ4X traction battery?

My previous RAV4 featured 20” wheels, whereas my incoming model has 18”. I prefer the appearance of the 20” wheels and have long believed they offer a sporty feel without excessive softness. The 18” wheels and tires should deliver a smoother ride, though handling could decline. What are your experiences? Do you favor the 20” or 18”?

Please, can I disable this thing??? I know I can turn it off by pushing the button each time I start the eng., but I'd just like to have it completely disabled forever... If I don't push he button, I get more wear to the starter in one trip to town than in appx. a year of my normal driving... May be good for somebody, but not me.

Evening all. Just got a new to me 2008 Rav4 Sport 2.4l this morning. Drove all day without an issue. Started every time and drove just fine, no weird noises or anything. Jumped on the interstate earlier this evening and set the cruise. 5 or 10 minutes later the cruise indicator started to flash. After a minute or 3 the engine stopped responding to gas and pulled off to the side. As soon as I came to a stop the engine died and would not restart. Had it towed home and put it on a... Cruise indication flashed and then engine died
