I wanted to know if anyone has had any problems with Safelite front windshield repair? I have used Rivian Service Center for my replacement thru USAA, but they cap labor rates at $40/hour, which lowers my reimbursement amount they provide. I'd like to use Safelite next time, since USAA will reimburse the full amount. If I need to replace my window again, I wanted to know if anyone has had any problems with Safelite calibrating the replacement window? Or should I stay with the Rivian service... Happens when running the A/C . Has anyone had that issue? Seems like the drip tube from the evaporator is clogged or overflowing somehow. It is still draining water underneath truck on the passenger side.

I know this has been covered in the past but my R1T was making a clunking sound when accelerating/ decelerating. I took it in to service and they replaced the half shaft. After picking it up the clunking sound continued. I took it back to service saying that the clunking sound was still there. The tech, after driving it around, said the noise was normal due to wear and tear of the drive linkage. Does anyone feel this is true? I can’t believe this is normal. The sound never happened until the... Clunking sound when accelerating and decelerating
Given what I know, I'm surprised shareholders are not actively revolting against the re-writing of RJ's comp plan to lower the share price thresholds which they deemed to difficult to hit. What? Isn't that the point of awarding one person billions of dollars? Because the targets are difficult to hit? And now that RJ is failing to hit the previous targets they re-write the rules mid-stream? I thought the idea was that he had to hit to the targets, but now he gets a "do-over"? Seems strange... What do RIVN shareholders think of RJ's new compensation package?
Or is this site only for fanbois? This is the worst vehicle I have ever owned, and I drove a freak Renault LeCar in the early 80s. I am screwed now as I spent over 100K in 2024. Not willing to lose half my investment, but at least I can vent. After my Buick Enclave met its end, I had to invest in something capable of winter trips to Lake Tahoe. I do hate electric cars, but my Tesla honestly has been great, just not a good idea in the mountains. 2024 R1S, Adventure package, Quad motor AWD... Rivian Haters Thread
Hi All, I'm looking at a R1T and would like to get some real world feedback on how it handles winter driving in the Big or Little Cottonwood canyons. I'm hoping there are some locals on here that can share their experiences from multiple trips up to the ski resorts. I'm interested in: 1. How the cold affects your range 2. Does the excessive traffic on the way up/down cause issues with your range 3. How does it handle coming down in a snow/ice storm. 4. Are you running dedicated snow tires... So you're at around 20 thousand miles and your 20" Pirelli Scorpions have tread left but have started to howl...they've been good to you, strong enough, efficient enough, decent all-around traction including snow, and even quiet enough until recently. You want to try something new and not just buy into another dilemma in 20K more miles, yet not give up any of the livability aspects or any range, enter the Toyo Open Country AT III EV:
Hey everyone — Matt from niftly3d here. Just launched the Black Ops Console Organizer and wanted to share with the ROF community first. The Slide V2 is a two-piece console organizer for the R1S/R1T lower center console. Sliding tray on top, divider drawer underneath — cards, keys, coins, small items, all organized and quiet.
