Anybody put a johnny bucket on a later model Sov?

I'm running an 82" belt in my 42" deck in my B110. Is that correct or are some of you guys running something different?

Not sure what will happen with the building and contents yet. This was my go-to for small engine machine work. Also ran an independent auto parts business out of the front.

I've been having trouble lately with the 48" deck on my mower. I keep getting an uneven cut, with strips that are higher, usually 30-32" apart. I've taken the mower off, cleaned out from under it, sharpened the blades as much as I could without removing them, checked that the blades are parallel and true to each other, as well as strait. I am cutting at nearly 3", but that hasn't been changed. Every time I mow, I check the from tire pressure, measure the axle height on both sides, fill rear tires to 10-15psi. Rollers are rolling. I thought at first then maybe the grass was so springy it wasn't coming back up from the front tire. The spacing isn't right. I've tried moving the in cut wheel over and it doesn't really eliminate the problem. It looks worse in person than in these paictures Anyone have any ideas?

Tractor will start up after 30 minutes or so. The fuel at the fuel filter is full, gas tank is full, have tried 2 new spark plugs and same results. Looking for ideas of what it could be. Has electronic ignition (nova).

Been a long time since I’ve changed it. Going to use Wix was something about anti drain back . Do I want that feature or not?

Bought a Simplicity Sunstar with Kohler CH20S, power steering. No battery. Otherwise, poorly cared for but complete. Usual story - ran when parked but now it won't. PO provided audio/video as "proof of good engine and somewhat running drive train. From the audio I detect leaking exhaust, carburetor needs attention and starter needs attention. Engine is intended for my Power Max 9020 and power steering to my Sovereign 75 Anniversary tractor. 5

Reinstalling the driver's side footrest. Captive nut up by the PTO fell out. Tried reinstalling and also another one. Man what a bear. I can get it in but as soon as I try getting the bolt on it pops back out. And only room for a single finger up in there. Anyone have any tricks for getting this done? Or can I just forget about it? The footrest is plenty firm with the 3 other bolts. Can a chunk of wood be shoved up in between the back of the nut and the BGB to hold it until the bolt grabs the threads or is there possibly nothing right up near the nut? Update, I JBWelded a captive nut to one end (flat side) of a paint stick. That should at least let me hold it in place a lot easier. I'll try it tomorrow and see how it goes.

Does anyone happen to know where a hydraulic lift, in working condition, for rear implements, that where available on the Allis b110 or the Simplicity Landlord, might be found or purchased? I have seen them from time to time but not lately. I’m looking for a complete setup. Any info would be greatly appreciated, Thank You, Paul.

Anyone know if this stuff (designed to mask off glass on windows, for example) will stick to tires? I am planning to paint the wheels on my 716H gloss black. I don't want to dismount the tires, and I don't want to fuss with painter's tape. Thinking this might be a good idea.

I bought this 2011 Prestige probably five years ago. I seldom used it. It had a problem of seeming to lose power or RPMs after being run for an hour or more and I hadn’t had time to mess with it. Dad was mowing with it several weeks ago when this occurred. I pulled the left cylinder plug wire and there was no change in running sound. I believed I had a dead coil. The engine is a Kohler Command CV740 and the original ignition was the Digital Spark Advance Ignition (DSAI). The coils are not like normal magnetos. This system was apparently problematic. I ordered the update kit which replaces both coils with Magnetos (MDI). Original DSAI coils. A jumper harness that runs between the DSAI coils is discarded. One spade terminal had to be installed. New mag coils: Overall it was not difficult but the worst part was removing and installing the blower shroud and related components, then reassembling and getting everything lined up. Have not had a chance to mow yet but hoping the issue is corrected.
