Gaskets / Seals required when pulling engine for clutch replacement

Getting prepared for a clutch replacement, and putting together a list of gaskets / seals that will need to be replaced. I plan to pull the engine. So far I have: exhaust headers to block gaskets x 2 exhaust headers to mid exhaust gasket x 1 exhaust donut gasket x 1 throttle body to block gasket x 1 rear main seal x 1 Am I missing any? Timing belt and pulleys were done recently. I already have rocker cover gaskets and spark plug tube seals as optional extras.

Request for Assistance

Good day! I’m new here and happy to greet everyone! I came across this interesting forum and wanted to ask: does the name "FB25DI" refer to the engine shown in the photo, or is it something else entirely? I would be extremely grateful for any information on this, as I have long been an admirer of the Subaru brand—and the Ascent model in particular! I have quite an extensive collection of information on Subaru and am always looking to expand it! That is precisely why I’m asking... Perhaps one... Request for Assistance

2011 5EAT 5 speed auto low speed shift-bang

2011 Outback 3.6 Limited. The car drives nicely, shifts normally at road speeds depending on speed, grade, and throttle position such going up hills, passing, or just maintaining a speed. However, when at operating temperature, as I approach a stop it sometimes does a harsh down shift and lurches forward. Then also when going from a stop with easy acceleration the engine will flare a bit, ( perhaps a 1/10 of a second), and a violent shift bang occurs as if someone was dumping the clutch... 2011 5EAT 5 speed auto low speed shift-bang

Can a window sticker confirm special factory order options?

I’m researching a vehicle with an unusual combination of equipment that I don't see on many examples of the same model. I’m wondering if it may have been a customer ordered vehicle rather than dealer stock. Would the original window sticker show special order options, unusual colors, limited production packages, upgraded interiors, or equipment that wasn't commonly ordered? If a particular option was only available with a certain engine, transmission, or trim, would the sticker help... Can a window sticker confirm special factory order options?

DCM-related total vehicle electrical collapse

We experienced a total drivability failure while driving in traffic on a mountain pass in our 2017 3.6R with 73k miles. Without going into details of the experience at this point, engine started to misfire and lost power, power steering went out and dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Has anyone monitoring this forum had a similar experience?

2026 XT gas mpg 5

Bought a new 2026 Outback XT 05/2026. I do not drive much, only local. The MSRP is 21/28 mpg. I have only 500 miles driving so far and my consistent mpg is 5.1. This unacceptable and if it continues I will move on from Subaru. Any thoughts or knowledgable opinions are welcome before I go to Subaru Service next week. Thanks in advance for your time.

Going to lift my 3.6r, what do I need?

As the title states, I'm going to lift my '11 3.6r. I have Bilstein B8 TerraSport. Do I need anything else to accommodate for the lift? End links, control arms, springs, etc.? Or will the stock suspension be able to handle the lift? 1.5" front and 1" rear. I have never lifted a car before, so any help is awesome. I have lowered a car using Bilstein B12, almost 2", and I didn't need anything else (came with shorter springs).

Posting about my 2019 Subaru Outback Xmode / check engine light

Have owned a few Outbacks but this is a new problem. Check engine light is on along with XMode and eyesight. Is it ok to drive somewhere that have an OBD scanner? Anyone else have this problem and how was it resolved. Just dropped a ton of cash for an oil leak issue so hoping nothing major.
