Heat Press Nation is TERRIBLE!

Two weeks ago I ordered a HPN Signature 16x20 Auto-Open heat press (the auto-open feature is $50 extra). Last week it was delivered. I carefully opened it up, set it up on a dedicated table, then started working with it. The slide-out drawer table was very tight, but worst of all the Auto-Open feature did not work. I reviewed all of the tech support videos available, tightened the pressure to very high (as suggested) but still no Auto -Open. I emailed tech support. No response for two... White Polyester Tees

I have a coach who wants a white short sleeve 100% polyester or performance tee that is not see-through (as she put it) for her volleyball team. She doesn't the C2 from Augusta as she thinks it is too see-through. From what I have seen most of the regular 100% poly tees are going are going to be somewhat see- through. Any suggestions on a brand/style? Maybe the actual Badger brand SS tee from Augusta? Thanks Larry

DTG on black tees: large flat color + fine linework - am I hitting the limits of the method?

Hey, I run a small shop and I am struggling with DTG on black 100% cotton tees for designs that combine a large solid color area with fine linework and small text. Some shirts show good solid soft/haloed lines, others have sharp lines but grainry/patchy large areas. You have tried adjusting pretreatment application, white ink destiny, underbase settings, curing, and different blank brands, but you still feel forced to choose between solid coverage and crisp detail. I am asking to DTG... DTG on black tees: large flat color + fine linework - am I hitting the limits of the method?

Whites Failed Nozzle Check, Clogged Nozzles?

I stopped printing for about a week and came back to a failed nozzle check for my whites 1 and 2. I ran multiple heavy cleanings but none seemed to fully restore the whites and the best I could get it to is attached in this thread. A technician recommended I run an ink charge so I did but that unfortunately also did not resolve the issue. I also tried soaking the head and waiting a day or two(I did this twice) without any luck. Just wondering if anyone has an idea of anything else that might... Whites Failed Nozzle Check, Clogged Nozzles?

Tested auto-digitized files on a real machine — 12 samples, preview vs actual stitch-out

I've been working on automatic digitizing and I wanted to know how far off the software preview actually is from the sewn result, so I ran 12 test designs through it and had them stitched out on a real machine — shapes, satin columns, fills, small lettering and a couple of full logos. What held up: solid fills came out clean and even, the split two-colour block had a crisp boundary with no gap, and small lettering stayed legible down to a surprisingly small size on the simpler shapes...
