Hi, hope you might be able to help? We have a 4 year old van with a new battery installed recently. We are travelling in Europe right now and have noticed again that our main battery is losing power when we stop over - roughly 0.25v every 24 hours. So after 3 days we are at 11.85V and the van struggles to start-up. Given the heat we have the side door and tail gate open mornings and evenings especially. We often get a chattering noise (relays?) and whirl from under the bonnet. Problem... Read more

Hello all, I’ve had the Emergency SOS red light come on, after speaking to VW they suggested the battery may need to be placed. I have replaced the battery the red light disappeared changed to green, shortly afterwards it changed back to green. I had diagnostics carried out to clear and reset all faults. But the red light is back on. Any suggestions as to how to turn off the red light.

I’m completely new to this and am not all at electrically minded and I don’t know any one who can help me. I took my T6 for a trial run to a campsite. I’ve got solar and a lithium battery so this was great off grid for 4 days. My real worry was connecting the Ehu lead to my socket, which is located underneath the rear of the van. Hi I’m a new member having last week bought a secondhand 18 plate T6 (manual gearbox) with a brand new full conversion done privately. I’ve already insured it at the converted value as a Campervan with A. Flux and done the road tax. At the point of sale the seller did the on-line DVLA registration change and the new Log Book arrived in the post today. Hi All, I've a BCM ending 087 and want to upgrade to 090. can this upgraded BCM come from any VW or does it have to be off of a Transporter? I know that I'll need to match the end letter for the keyfob frequency etc and copy across the settings in VCDS etc, just curious of the T5 / T6 had a different BCM to that on other VW cars?

Someone local to me in Germany is selling a RIB 120 Slider, in Brown Alcantara for €500. I'm toying with the idea of buying it, and bringing it to the UK next month. It's not sold here, presumably because Germans are rather strict on their TUV rules, and the conversion scene I don't think is as strong as the UKs. I'm thinking about getting a new awning and the Vango Versos has caught my eye for it's versatility. Any owners on here who could provide any feedback - positive or negative! Is the fabric used as capable as that of the other awnings around the same price point? It sounds like it might be lighter weight than some of the other options. Suggestions of other good options are also welcome

Looking to get a diesel heater fitted. I am thinking autotherm model but are they the best for the money ? Should I be looking other models ??
