In KY you can make one of our state teams, open, sub vet, vet, lady, etc etc, without having to shoot a registered target in state. One requirement is that you do have to shoot the 400 All Around targets BUT you can do that at our state shoot, the Southern Zone shoot or at the Grand or any combination from those 3 choices. To me that’s just plain wrong, you should have to shoot the 400 at our STATE shoot to be considered for the teams. That levels the playing field for those 400 targets as... State team requirements

At a charity shoot this past Friday, at post change the score keeper read out the squad's total score, not the individual scores. So instead of saying 4 4 5 3 5, he said 21. Have any of you out there seen this before? I might add that the trap help at this shoot are largely inexperienced volunteers, so no complaints, just an observation/question. All in fun. Wes

Many years back at the CT state shoot I had the opportunity to shoot a CG summit for a rd of 100. Wasn't in the running for a trophy so I figured why not try it. Shot a 94 without and adjustments. Now, obviously the Summit combo is the best option but the price tag takes it out of the running as of right now. What combo is most comparable to it? Was looking at the Beretta 682, JE combo, 725 combo. Any help would be great. I haven't shot since 2012 and am so far out of the loop. Chris

So here’s where I’m at, last month I went to the state shoot knowing that my score wasn’t important since I had no chance of winning. I ended up shooting a 75 straight with an overall of 98. The following week I shot at our local club league knowing that my score would matter in the long run and shot an 88 overall. I have a tendency to put pressure on myself when I think score is important and then things go bad. The same happened last week when I shot a round of sporting clays for practice... I went to a local flea market this morning and there was a seller that had several rifle scopes from K-Mart. Dows anyone know who made the rifle scopes for K-Mart back in the day?

I am left eye/left hand dominant and have decided to switch from one eye shooting to two eye shooting. I know it's going to take time but IMO, it is a world of difference between one eye and two eye shooting. I can see so much better with two eyes and not just narrow straight ahead so to speak. If I was cross firing, what posts AND angles would I have issues with considering I am left hand/left eye dominant? My usual issues (when one eyed) are P1 and P5.
