I ground a prime brisket into burgers for the first time this evening, this is a new LEM 12. I watched a ton of videos on youtube but it was still more than I expected, 16.16# I got the knife I saw Chris A using I really butchered that thing! I kind of wanted to just grind it whole, it seemed really lean. Was some good practice separating the point & the flat the flat was leaner than I expected, the point felt like... Read more

What do you think about this? I’m really interested in getting one.
You can add you own "You know you're getting old when..." post to this thread, if so inclined. Please keep it as positive as possible, a thread like this can easily become a gripe fest if we're not careful. You know you're getting old when...you start waxing nostalgic about towels. I was clearing out some cabinets in the laundry room and came across these. Boy, they were expensive back in the day but I always felt they were worth the money because of their quality. From a time... Read more
Grilled for a small event yesterday here in Boston and it reminded me of how much I miss my Q buddies and days in Northern California. Well, its been 17 years since ive lived there I figure its time to keep those memories in place and make some new ones. Just wanted to say hi. If anyone is in or around Boston give a shout.

Added a bit more rub to the bone side and went for another 30 minutes. Temped at 180F +/- 5. I always go easy with a new rub and... Read more

I'd love to find an original Weber NIB or new/unused cover for a Gen 3000. If you have one or know someone who does please DM me. Thank you!
Just for reference purposes, a Genesis will comfortably fit in the trunk of a Camry. More to come as I unload….. I picked this up because I was driving through NJ. When I got there the items he couldn’t locate: faceplate, small catch pan (I have the large tray), and the tank scale/ wheels and whole section. He says he is moving and may find it, but I’ll be sourcing parts in the meantime if anyone has these items up for grabs. If local, I’d grab some Z bars as well and buy them or leave you... Read more
