So recently I've been greeted with a small cloud of smoke from burning oil on start ups. Never really in the morning when it's cold out, but usually leaving work when it's a little warm. IK the car has a valve cover leak, but the smoke is coming out of the exhaust instead of underneath; ie not the oil from the valve cover leak burning on top of the exhaust. Is this likely a PCV issue or should I start diagnosing a more serious issue?

What are people using / had good results from? Hopefully I'm close to getting something on top of my epoxy primer soon on my floorpan and the underside of the body. I know the internet loves 2k bedliner paint, but the critical thinker in me notices that the praise is often about how easy it is to apply, not what it looks like in 10 years time. Plus it bothers me that it is sold as 'bedliner', not chassis paint. For what its worth I think I'm thinking I'll be going over my epoxy primer... What paint - underneath the car

1978 LEB 1200cc with 17.5k (Genuine milage) Hesitating / Bogging down just as you apply throttle. Once past this it sounds great and goes well. Any ideas? Valve clearances checked Timing checked static and with Gun New Carb (Bbt-made no difference to the standard Solex 30 Pict 3) New Plugs, Leads, Rotor Arm, Points, Cap and Coil. All plugs are the same colour. Running out of ideas now. Anyone know what the standard jetting should be and how to dial out this hesitation / Bogging? Video... Hesitating / Bogging down off the bottom
