Ok my alarm keeps going off, I have disconnected the siren and replaced with another, well two and now nothing, the indicator lights flash on activation and deactivation but no sound Any ideas what the problem is, checked with vcds, and no alarm code checked under the drivers seat, found blue and red wires connected together via a metal type bullet connector, see, below but another red and blue wire comes out from this connection and terminates no where, any idea what the problem could... t5 alarm keeps going off

Hi all, Rather than using a silicone mitten to remove my grill drip pan when hot, does anyone by chance have a recommendation for a removable handle that fits the original type (has the holes along the top edges) for a Smev model 555 grill. Its factory fitted to my 2002 Bilbo's Nektar and the handle seems to be either missing or never actually existed. Smev don't show/list one in their literature at all so my assumption is that I'd be looking at something after market. I was hoping someone... Grill handle for Smev model 555

Hi all I have a 2008 T5, just wondering what head units you have all put in your vans? I want one with DAB and all the usual apple car play etc All I can find online seems to be ones for 2010 T5.1 onwards, I thought they would all be same Any help or advice would be awesome cheers

I have fitted a new headunit in my 2013 T5.1, the sound is terrible, it was terrible before I swapped the headunit, I have purchased a set of 6.5" speakers, based on the lies that Google told me regarding the size Upon removing the door card, it is plainly obvious that they are far too small for the hole Is this the adapter plate that would be needed? Hi everyone, I picked up my first T4 last week, I was having a poke about the engine bay today to familiarise myself with everything and found 2 vacuum hoses that don't seem to be connected to anything. First one is black with a 90degree connector that comes from the intake manifold. The second is a white one that comes from the top of the air intake. Could someone point me in the right direction as to where these should be connected? Thanks. Erk. ... Vacuum hoses AAC engine

Hi all just a question re tools, we plan on attempting plenty of work (with the help available on here) but we have zero tools and would like to get together a set, the things we want to teach ourselves are servicing, brakes, CV joints, oil changes, filter changes, etc, I do not think in grand scheme of things we will ever progress to things like clutches, timing belts as im sure there (probably) better suited to a proffesional. I think a torque wrench would be a good investment? We also... Basic Tools

got a 2004 T5 with the AXD engine for an oil change and have a fault for the G266 sensor, short to plus/open circuit. i think these are common for broken wires but I'm not sure where to start, conveniently the main loom plug is in the large box under the battery, so its a fair task to access it 🤦 on the 3 pin plug I do have 12v and ground, 3rd wire being the signal to the dashboard I believe. vin is WV1ZZZZHZ5H069037

So only a quick question, I am looking to get a badgeless front grill for the caravelle and every one I look at is for standard van and states I won't fit my van..... Is this because it won't fit ? Or is it because some fiddling and changes needed to be fitted ? Is there any other options ? Would like to face lift at some point and advice would be great Thank you

I have an issue with sporadic overheating on the van I acquired two months ago. 1999 T4 2.4 lwb It had a replacement cylinder head, new belts, water pump, pipes etc earlier this year, and mostly runs just fine, temp gauge wavering around the middle. Every couple of weeks, the gauge goes right up, the warning light starts flashing and very soon turns blue. I stop the van and leave it a few minutes, when I start up again, temperature back to normal and everything is just fine. I took it... (Yet another) Overheating problem - T4 2.4 1999

Hi New member here and first time posting. While traveling on holiday I'm my T4 motorhome on Monday it developed a fault after climbing a long hill initially the smell of anti freeze immediately followed by the smell smoke followed by smoke in the cab by the time I'd pulled off dual carriageway to some where safe the engine had stopped after cooling down I found it had lost all it's... T4 engine failure

We’re currently travelling France then Spain and it’s 30+ degrees in the day and 24+ at night. Any suggestions on how to stay cool or any products available via Amazon would be greatly appreciated 🥵🥵🥵 btw our van is 21 years old with no ac…we’ve got wind down windows fgs😂
