Big congratulations to Ryan and the entire ANA team on the new Admiral banners! I remember this being one of Ryan’s Day 1 priorities, and it’s so cool to see this community enrichment come to fruition. They look fantastic!

I usually don’t like cheesy banners in commercial districts but I have to say, I love these banners.

This kind of efforts to keep Alki Beach clean & beautiful is what sets West Seattle’s Alki Neighborhood apart from other waterfront area’s. THANK YOU TO ALL THAT VOLUNTEERED!

I refuse to pay for parking! If car parking costs money then my only trips to the Junction will be on bicycle or on foot. It just seems like a waste of money to pay for car parking when you can park a bike for free or walk for free or take a bus for only $3.

My impression is they are using the term deli in a different context than many of us associate with the word. Husky is a deli, I think this will be more of a high end shop of gourmet products and a few daily food offerings. I inquired about non-stair access a while ago, no reply.

That refers to circumstances in which the victim doesn’t want to cooperate, often described colloquially on police radio as “doesn’t want to be a victim,” and that would make it very difficult to prosecute. Depending on the severity of the reported crime, they could proceed with the arrest anyway.

In reply to Emily . I imagine a safe bike lane down California Ave would require REMOVING PARKING along one side of the street… While I am personally in favor of such things, that doesn’t sound like an option that would get rave reviews here in the Blog comments.
