For reference according to Google/AI in 2025 BMW sold 66,125 R1300GS/GSA series bikes. Good, bad or indifferent Guzzi is certainly boutique/niche.

Luap - what are you going to replace that Indian with ? It seems to me that your bike inventory is down, and needs to be replenished. Don't worry. If you start to have withdrawals then I can drop you off a loaner until you decide.

All back together but now the RHS rear indicator ain't working! Why, oh why do they use those poxy BAX15s bulbs? The bulb's not blown however, so time to check connections. Might end up adding a combined reflector/tail/stop lamp whilst there. Jeez, I just wanna go for a wee spin.

Addressing a few points raised.. It often takes something drastic - a few deaths and/or seriously maimed - for action to be taken. We have a spoilt brat 'buzzing' around on an illegal e-scooter that their entitled parent(s) bought them. What will it take for something remedial to happen? I have my thoughts on what I'd like to happen, in order for the parents to be charged and kid chastised. Let's take a hypothetical example. Someone at the far end of that bridge has a cardiac arrest but nearest paramedic is 15 mins. away on same side of the bridge. Nearer at hand is the ambulance crew 2 minutes away but can't get across the bridge due to unruly bridge activity. Licensing of vehicles is to make street use accountable. Take that away and anything goes, as witnessed by the balaclava wearing thugs/toe-rags that currently infect (predominantly English) U.K. streets. Ooops, thread drift. Commentary: Many of us got up to relatively harmless mischief when young(er) but there has to be limits. The young adults must not do this kind of stuff in Wi. It was starting around here and after a couple involvements with the police, it settled back down. I'm with a previous poster. In these events and similar car events, crush completely all vehicles and sell as scrap iron.
