Good afternoon, everyone. I’m hoping to get some fresh eyes on a crank/no-start issue with my Jeep. Here’s the background. The engine has about 270K miles on it. It was running before the rebuild—not perfect, but there were no major issues. I decided to freshen it up and installed new pistons and rings. I also had the cylinder head worked on, including lapping the valves and replacing the valve stem seals. Since putting everything back together, I have a crank/no-start condition. So I have replaced my old worn stock timing set with a Cloyes Race True Double Roller set. My Technical Service Manual describes there should be 15 links between Crank Mark at 3 O'Clock and Cam Mark at 1 O'Clock. (Taunt side of chain) I think I'm ready to go back together with this thing but a strongly do NOT want to have to redo this job if at all possible. Is there a way to get any of the Jeep Twelve 4 ducks. Besides purchasign a one of the 12 jeeps. I bought a new 2026 Jeep Wrangler Willys a month ago so not going to be buying another jeep just for the ducks. Was wondering of there is some "black market" type deal to geta few of the Twelve 4 ducks?

My wife drives a 26' Sahara, 2" lift 35" tires. 5200 miles on it, she said last night it sounded like "a flock of angry chirping birds" noise coming from the right side. It was raining very hard last night, and I took it for a ride this morning, no rain and it's quiet to me? I figured the belts got some crap on em from puddles. Any ideas? Thanks. ... Squealing noise

Got my 2026 JL 3.6L Willys home three weeks ago. Driving on the highway today at 70mph vehicle started miss firing wouldn’t shift gear, check engine light starts flashing. I get home and plug my code reader in. P0171, P0300, P2096 and P0137. Get under the vehicle and start looking around and what do I see. Yup, oil leak on the passenger side valve cover. I sure hope this is not a sign of a Monday or Friday built motor.

My 99 tj picks up speed, however at a slight grade in road, it looses speed, won't accelerate , it dies out unless I downshift. There's no codes displayed, no smell, like bad catalytic converter. So wondering if possible bad filter/ fuel pump ? Has 180k on 6cy

In the process of cleaning my timing cover today before reinstalling a new timing chain kit, I found this wear on the front of it. After putting the original stock balancer, it appears the rear edge of the rubber inner ring has been dragging against the front of the timing cover. The wear is minimal enough I do plan to reuse it but is something that is frequently seen?

Would anyone be able to tell me if the DB3 brackets will provide any improvnt to the handling of my 2018 JK recon. im running a MC GC3.5 with 3/4” spacers for a total of 4.25” lift. also have the front drop brackets and I’m on 37 nitto MTs jeep runs great! But, would hiway / washboard driving improve at all with the rear DB3s? anyone with a 2 door notice a difference?
