So I have an 05 zx10r. It had been sitting for about 3.5 years or so. With no mechanical issues. I had 2 sets of fairings blow off and just got tired of dropping $450+ on them so I just parked it in the garage. Well I decided to bring it back to life this summer, and got the new plastics on it, changed the oil, and put fresh gas in it. It had been riding fine for 2 weeks, and then started getting an intermittent FI light, but it rode fine. Well 7 days ago I got caught in a bad pop up... Water damage? Something else?

UPDATED MAR 20, 2025 I've replaced most of my visible exterior fasteners (4th Gen 10R) with titanium and have a list of specifications to share. If you're aware of anything not listed, submit a reply and I'll add it to this original post. Body: Frame slider (engine) mounting bolts (2) M10x##mm (lengths are brand specific) 1.25mm pitch (recommend supporting weight of engine before removing right side) Upper fairings (6) M5x15mm 0.8mm pitch... A software connection timeout during a standard write operation using the USB Mv3 interface completely bricked the ECU on my 2018 Kawasaki ZX-14R. Ticket #730613 was opened immediately. Woolich Support confirmed the error and escalated to Level 3 / Development Team. Since escalation, Woolich has gone completely silent and abandoned the ticket. My motorcycle is left immobilized due to a software bug, with zero support or resolution from the vendor. Consider... WARNING for anyone flashing with Woolich Racing

Hey all, I recently purchased a gen1 zx10. It had a cracked frame and only 9k miles. I had it welded and then painted it. What a bike. I have an 05 636 I bought new and at the time I really considered getting the 10. After riding it I wish I did. I grew up with analog machines that punished you for not learning the skills to master them. The gen1 zx10 is a bike that demands you have the skills.
