I was told in a post on Reddit that the new v1.2 is supposed to be released Oct 31. Does anyone know if this is true, and what the improvements might be?
the page here has a buy now. https://mosaico.espressif.com/
Hello, It's been a whole week since I am having this problem: the radio TO pcm1808 TO esp2s3 TO MAX98357A TO two speakers PATH, is not working properly: no sound and no data (current status problem) or HORRIBLE BUZZING instead and some data coming to the S3... I don't know what is happening and the different AIs I am using are turning me an "avoidable at all costs" tagged person... I have been searching also for books with specific examples covering something similar (I2S+ESP-IDF, and external ADCs and amplifier), but I was unable to find this. the official espressif is too dark for me, and even browsing trough it, didn't bring me results other than the desperation itself if you can help me you will become an EVEN BETTER person than you actually are of course , and I will become the most happy man on earth for some days. take it for sure. I have attached some code, the connection scheme for my modules (currently ONLY the mentioned at the Re: are really connected) and some output from the esp-idf console in VSC. The app's current, simplified flow just for for this issue, is easy: app_main(void) -> setup(), that calls those functions as you can see at the attached code. Code: setup_i2c(); setup_i2s(); setup_radio(); setup_amp(); radio_to_digital_output(); Thanks in advance , Roger connections.csv.txt terminal_output.txt MyAlarmClock.c
While I am not new to ESP32 and firmware development, I have doubts regarding the mobile application development and what path to take for the same. I have downloaded the Android studio and tried one of the sample applications, but it was very lengthy process. So, I want to ask what path I should take to learn this process fast and effective?
Hello, I made it work, finally, but honestly, it's been some days ago and I cannot remember how. All I can do is post part of my code here if someone is interested, THANKS FOR YOUR HELP ! In my board_devices.yaml file, for this device I have: - name: audio_dac chip: internal # dummy codec, sin bus de control type: audio_codec config: adc_enabled: false dac_enabled: true sys_cfg: is_master: false no_mclk: true # MAX98357A does not use MCLK peripherals: - i2s_name: i2s_audio_out ... And the function that finally plays the file in my sdcard: void play_file() { esp_codec_dev_handle_t playback_handle = NULL; int ret = playback_peripheral_init(&playback_handle); if (ret != ESP_OK) { esp_board_manager_deinit_device_by_name(ESP_BOARD_DEVICE_NAME_FS_SDCARD); return; } // DIGITAL AUDIO PLAY ESP_LOGI(TAG, "[ 2 ] Register all the elements and set audio information to play codec device"); esp_gmf_pool_handle_t pool = NULL; esp_gmf_pool_init(&pool); gmf_loader_setup_io_default(pool); gmf_loader_setup_audio_codec_default(pool); gmf_loader_setup_audio_effects_default(pool); ESP_LOGI(TAG, "[ 3 ] Create audio pipeline"); esp_gmf_pipeline_handle_t pipe = NULL; // Pipeline array const char *name[] = {"aud_dec", "aud_alc", "aud_ch_cvt", "aud_bit_cvt", "aud_rate_cvt"}; int retorn = esp_gmf_pool_new_pipeline(pool, "io_file", name, sizeof(name) / sizeof(char *), "io_codec_dev", &pipe); ESP_GMF_RET_ON_NOT_OK(TAG, retorn, return, "Failed to new pipeline"); esp_gmf_io_codec_dev_set_dev(ESP_GMF_PIPELINE
Has anyone seen the esp-mosaico "in the wild"? I'm looking at its pages and think it might be the core of a solution I'm trying to develop, but I can't find one anywhere. Thanks!
pinMode(43, OUTPUT);// power SDMMC digitalWrite(43, LOW); delay(50); //
So used the echo code to get used to the serial jtag output. Implemented the JTAG serial driver in my project (no echo or hexdump to console) and it works but with secondary console enabled get the console output on both consoles as well as the serial output from jtag driver,,set secondary console=n and everything works as it should..funny why the echo project only worked with secondary console=y?
got the GPIOs waggling, my mistake, still no outputs when trying to start up an i80 LCD
Thank you! Your three options gave me ideas. I resolved the issue by going into the board manager and searched for ESP32. One of the results was "esp32 by Espressif Systems". From the version dropdown I selected 2.0.17 and installed. Again I compiled the code and all worked! Regards, Salvador
Ah! that would require documentation I note that there is now a TRM available, it's a work in progress and the IOMUX bit is still missing. I think you're probably right, I tried simply setting up the same pins as GPIO output and waggling them up and down, I also set them to have pullups - they got pulled up but don't waggle (which also confirms that I've soldered them correctly) People are doing useful stuff with S31s so it probably has to be something simple that I'm missing
