Can anyone identify my boat please. 14.5 ft long. Modified v hull. I have tried Google ai with photos and measurements but it keeps suggesting wilson flyer. There is no tag on it anywhere and the seller didn't know either. Really trying to find out more about it
Has anyone had an issue with pulley rigs spinning and twisting during casting? Went out Wednesday late afternoon and there was quite a crosswind left to right but perfect conditions. Plenty of swell and chocolate coloured water. Caught a double figure huss which was a bonus amongst the Thornback Rays. I was using large fish baits on a 3/0 dongle. Maybe it was the sidewind that was causing them to twist. I just lost confidence in the ones that did spin as you wonder if the bait is sitting... Rigs twisting during the cast.

Acording to a bulletin on radio 4 news mackerel quotas have been overfished by 40% this year so because of a shortage. a species from south American waters is to be used as a substitute. so i presume the poor mackerel season just gone is going to be the norm. i hope not as it has been very sporadic in our area of Tyne and wear. this is not a hoax. our waters have become a free for all with very little control, the government must step in shortly as all stocks are becoming critical D.S.J.🦀
I've been using these tip lights without major problems for a couple of years now, they come in green, red & blue (& possibly yellow but I cant remember) & they cost about 4-5 quid, they come with batteries but make sure you buy some extra! more on that later, I take aesthetics very seriously & the last thing I want to do is have a big bit of ugly plastic glued to my favourite rods so personally this is what I do to the mounts, I must mention though that this is just me being shallow & is... Way back in 2018 Cornwall IFCA did a consultation with recreational sea anglers to express their hopes and concerns regarding recreational fishing, surprise, surprise inshore netting and lack of appreciation for the value of RSA were high on the list. Well 6 years on some action, apparently CIFCA have awarded a contract to produce a report on "MONITORING" recreational fishers. "Developing a recreational fisheries data-gathering mechanism" And eventually "It aims to implement community... Should Cornish sea anglers be concerned ?
Cairncastle 5/6/2016 150g day Well the second round of the club league was today, it wasn’t that long after the first round but due to the lack of a venue for so long due to such a wet winter. It was a massive change today, even with long grass the ground was baked hard, if fact a few casts were discounted as the lead didn’t stay in the soil. It wasn’t going to be a day for massive distances as it was 1020mb of pressure, 21 degrees, casting uphill with barely any wind. When the... Ulster Casting Club
